Actor Nani, who is busy with many projects in hand, recently sat down for an interview with veteran actor Suhasini for Cineulagam where he had a detailed conversation with her on his life and career. During the interview, Nani heaped praises on Vikram, calling him the "sweetest person ever".

Recalling an incident where the actor personally messaged him, Nani said, "A few months back, I received a message saying, 'Hi, Vikram sir wants to talk to you'. I ignored it, thinking it must be an unknown person, because numbers tend to leak. Then, on the second day, I get another message, saying, 'Hi Nani, this is Chiyaan Vikram trying to reach you. When can I call.' I was still not sure if it was him. I asked my manager and he said yes. Immediately I called him back."

Noting that the "best thing" happened on call with him, Nani added, "He spoke to me for 10-15 mins and cut the call. But he was following up with me, messaged me and then called just to let me know how much he likes my work and noted that he has been following my work from the beginning. He also enquired about my family. He knows everything about my life. He told me that he has been wanting to talk to me for a while, but was postponing it due to various reasons."

Nani further mentioned that he felt elated and "special" after the call. "Growing up, I have watched many films of Vikram sir. I remember catching Anniyan in Sathyam theatre in Hyderabad. He puts so much effort into his characters...he is on a vera level in my head now," he shared.

Nani, who was last seen in HIT: The Third Case as Arjun Sarkaar IPS, will next be seen in the much-awaited film The Paradise, helmed by Srikanth Odela of Dasara-fame. The film also stars Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal in key roles.
