A few days ago, we had reported about Lakshmi Manchu confirming the presence of Mohan Babu in Nani’s next big project The Paradise. On Saturday, The Paradise makers unveiled new Mohan Babu poster, officially introducing his character in the film.
Mohan Babu will be seen playing the main antagonist in the film named Shikanja Maalik. The new poster has the veteran actor embracing a whole new level of badass villainy, sporting cool shades, with a cigar in his right hand as his other hand rests on a gun. The film’s production house captioned the post as ‘The Dark Lord of cinema rises again. Bringing back The Legendary Mohan Babu Garu as ‘SHIKANJA MAALIK’ in The Paradise to reclaim the peak villainism.”
Nani too shared the poster on his X page, adding a note, “There are great heroes and there are great villains. He is that and this and a lot more. Here he is to remind you one more time why he is the Mohan Babu.” Directed by Srikanth Odela of Dasara fame, The Paradise also stars Raghav Juyal in a prominent role. Anirudh has been signed to compose music for the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer CH Sai, editor Navin Nooli, and production designer Avinash Kolla. More details about the film’s primary cast are yet to be officially announced, although the makers are reportedly considering Srinidhi Shetty and Kayadu Lohar for the film.
The Paradise is scheduled to release theatrically on March 26, 2026, and slated to arrive in multiple languages besides Hindi — namely Hindi, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish.
Mohan Babu was seen earlier this year in Kannappa, the fantasy drama headlined by his son Vishnu Manchu in a titular role.
