Abishan Jeevinth is once again stepping in front of the camera, for Soundarya Rajinikanth's upcoming feature. Abhisan made his directorial debut with Tourist Family, which starred Sasikumar and Simran in the lead.

Abishan will portray the lead character of Sathya in the film tentatively titled Production No 4. Soundarya is producing the film along with Pasilian Nazerath and Magesh Raj Pasilian. Shooting is currently underway for the film, which is backed by MRP Entertainment and Zion Films banner.

Soundarya Rajinikanth's last film venture was 2017's Velailla Pattadhaari 2, which was a sequel to 2014's Vellailla Pattadhaari. The films starred Dhanush as Raghuvaran, a civil engineer, who tries to navigate his career in face of oncoming hurdles.

The upcoming film isn't Abishan's first time in front of the camera. In Tourist Family, he played the role of a down-on-his-luck, alcoholic youngster, who grieves his mother and faces the ire of the neighbourhood. Tourist Family, which was released on April 29, opened to positive reviews.
