Rajinikanth’s Coolie continued its box office journey on its thirteenth day, collecting around Rs 3.25 crore India net across all languages, according to early estimates from sacnilk.com.

After experiencing a steep drop on its second Monday, the film managed to maintain the same numbers on Tuesday, indicating stable weekday performance. With this, Coolie has now reached a total of Rs 263.85 crore net in India.

The film had a phenomenal opening week, raking in Rs 229.65 crore, led by Tamil Nadu and Telugu states. The second weekend brought in strong momentum again, with Rs 10.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 11.35 crore on Sunday. However, as is typical with big releases, the second Monday saw a sharp dip, with collections at Rs 3.25 crore. Tuesday’s hold at the same level suggests a steady weekday trend.

Despite the slowdown, Coolie has already entered the Rs 260 crore club in less than two weeks and remains one of the top-performing films of the year.

An excerpt from CE’s review of the film reads, “There are so many characters, and yet, the writing doesn't allow any of them to flourish except for Soubin’s Dayalan and Shruti’s Preethi. Surprisingly, even Deva gets a raw deal, as his start-stop arc is as random as the machinations of Simon and the machine of Rajasekhar.”

Backed by Sun Pictures, Coolie stars Rajinikanth alongside Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Upendra and Rachita Ram. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.
