The makers of the upcoming drama film, Thandakaaranyam, has released the teaser for the film. Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan star as the leads of Thandakaaranyam, which is set to theatrically release on September 19.

Athiyan Athirai, who previously directed Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, which starred Dinesh in the lead, is directing Thandakaaranyam. Pa Ranjith is producing the film under his Neelam Productions banner. Along with him S Sai Devanand and S Sai Venkateswaran are producing the film. Pa Saravanan, Manind Bedi, PJ Prakash serve as executive producers on the film. Thandakaaranyam is backed by Learn and Teach Productions.

The rest of the cast of the film includes Riythvika, Vinsu Sam, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Muthukumar, Aruldoss, Saranya Ravichandran, and Bala Saravanan.

The crew of the film includes Justin Prabhakaran composing the music, from lyrics by Umadevi and Thanikodi. The rest of the crew of the film includes Pratheep Kaliraja as the director of photography, Selva RK as the editor, T Ramalingam as the art director, with Stunner Sam and AS Sudeshkumar handling stunts.
