Actor Vemal, who was last seen in Desingu Raja 2, is currently working on a couple of projects including the upcoming film Vadam. Meanwhile, his next movie, written and directed by Elson Eldhose and Maneesh K Thoppil, has completed filming. The makers had shared a group picture to commemorate the occasion.
The yet-to-be-titled film, which went on floors in June, wrapped shooting within 45 days. The rest of cast includes Mullai Arasi as the female lead, alongside Chetan and Saravanan who play supporting characters. While plot details have been kept under wraps, the film is said to be a comedy entertainer, aimed at entertaining audiences of all ages.
The film is backed by Ajith Vinayaka Films, which has backed hit many Malayalam movies like Gaganachari and Ponman. Basil George and Akash V Paul have penned the story. The team behind the project includes Justin Prabhakaran composing the music, Karthik Netha writing the lyrics, Jiju Sunny handling the cinematography, Madan handling the editing, and Raj Kamal handling the art for the film.
