Recently, the first look poster of actor Vetri's upcoming film Black Gold was unveiled by the makers.

The latest update is that actor Abhirami Venkatachalam is joining the star cast, which has Priyalaya playing the female lead.

With little known about the plot, the first look suggested that the film would carry an action-packed story.

Vetri has had two releases this year: Rajaputhiran and Muthal Pakkam. Making his debut with 8 Thottakkal, some of Vetri's notable performances include Jiivi, C/O Kaadhal, and Jiivi 2. He also has Iravu in the pipeline.

Meanwhile, Abhirami, who made her debut in NOTA, she has starred in Nerkonda Paarvai (2019), Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Vaan Moondru, with her big-ticket release, Dhruva Natchathiram, yet to see the light of the day. Last seen in the Sundar C-led Vallan this year, she also has Nerunji and August 27 in different stages of production.

Black Gold, produced by M Moorthy of the MM Studios banner, has music by Gavaskar Avinash, cinematography by Santhosh Kumar Veerasamy, edits by Raavanan D, and stunts by Metro Mahesh.
