Following the teaser reveal in June, the makers of Arjun Das-starrer Bomb announced on Wednesday that the film will release in September, without specifying a date.

Directed by Vishal Venkat, who previously made the critically acclaimed film Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal, the film is expected to evoke chuckles through scatological humor, as the teaser suggests a wacky idea about flatulence after death and how it helps the dead come back to life.

Apart from Arjun Das, Shivathmika, Nassar, Abhirami, Singampuli, and Balasaravanan have been cast in important roles.

Arjun Das was recently seen playing dual antagonist roles in Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. In another big release, he will be seen in actor-politician Pawan Kalyan's OG, releasing on September 25. He also has Once More, headlined by him and Aditi Shankar, which is yet to get a release date.

Produced by Sudha Sukumar and Sukumar Balakrishnan of Gembrio Pictures, Bomb has music composer D Imman, cinematographer Rajkumar PM, editor Prasanna GK, art director Manoj Kumar, and stunt choreographer Monster Mukesh in its technical team.

Apart from director Vishal, Manikandan Mathavan and Abhishek Sabarigirison were also given the story and screenplay credits, while Makizhnan BM has penned the dialogues.
