Parithabangal YouTube channel fame Gopi and Sudhakar recently published a video on their channel titled ‘Society Paavangal’, which was a satirical display of caste pride, without a mention of any specific caste or community. Now, a case has been filed by a lawyer against them at the Coimbatore Police Commissioner’s office for the latest video.

Karthik Dhanushkodi, a lawyer from Coimbatore, has filed a complaint against the Parithabangal channel, alleging that the recent video depicts certain comments against a specific community and portrays characters in a way that is derogatory to that community.

The complaint also states that the video contains dialogue that can create conflict between two communities, with specific phrases like "Sprinkling chilli powder and then killing" being cited as examples of language that can incite violence.

The complainant has requested that the video be taken down immediately, the channel be permanently banned, and action be taken against the actors Gopi and Sudhakar, who appeared in the video.

Gopi and Sudhakar, who started out with the Parithabangal channel, are currently working on a film as leads titled Oh God Beautiful. The film is written and directed by Vishnu Vijayan and also stars Vinsu Sam, VTV Ganesh, Ramesh Khanna, Suresh Chakravarthy, Viji Chandrasekhar, Subatra Robert, Muruganandham, Prasanna, Goutham, Balakumaran, Yuvaraj Ganesan, Haritha, Guhan, Sathvick, Aazhiya, and Benedict, among others.

It is to be noted that Gopi and Sudhakar had earlier started a film titled Hey Money Come Today Go Tomorrow Ya, which was set to be the biggest crowdfunded Tamil film. However, the film failed to materialise due to the pandemic and related issues.
