Fresh from his Best Composer win at the 71st National Film Awards, GV Prakash has achieved another milestone. The composer's song 'Enna Sugam' for the Dhanush starrer and directorial Idli Kadai has gained 10 million views on YouTube. The melody features Dhanush and Nithya Menen, who reunite for the film after 2022's Thiruchitrambalam.
Dhanush also sings 'Enna Sugam' with his own lyrics alongside Shweta Mohan. The film's producers, Dhanush's Wunderbar Pictures and Akash Baskaran's Dawn Pictures banners, are yet to release the full video of the song.
Idli Kadai reunites Dhanush and composer GV Prakash after 2024's Captain Miller. The two have collaborated on multiple films, including 2023's Vaathi, for which GV Prakash won the National Award.
Idli Kadai also stars Arun Vijay and Rajkiran in important roles. The film brings Dhanush and Rajkiran back together after their collaboration on Pa Paandi, the former's directorial debut. On the technical front, the film also has editor Prasanna GK and cinematographer Kiran Koushik.
Production on the film has been wrapped. It is slated for an October 1 release in theatres.
