At the 15th anniversary celebration of the Agaram Foundation, Kamal Haasan delivered a powerful message about the value of perseverance and the importance of supporting meaningful causes. Reflecting on his 70 years of experience, he acknowledged the wisdom in standing firm despite opposition and urged everyone to focus on the impactful work done by NGOs like Agaram.

He said, "Other than this (charitable work), do not take up anything else. You will not succeed because the majority will oppose you. Most people are ignorant and will resist; wisdom often gets lost in the process. You have to endure and hold on. Standing firm for years is not leadership. I have taken 70 years to truly understand this."

He continued, “Yesterday, I spoke with the Chief Minister and emphasised the importance of strongly supporting these NGOs. They don’t ask for financial aid; they only seek permission to do their work.”

Reflecting on the collaboration between generations, Kamal Haasan acknowledged, “Even if the best ideas come from the youngest among us, like Suriya, who I consider our own child, there’s nothing wrong in learning from them. If not from here, then from where else will we take inspiration?”

At the 15th anniversary celebrations of the Agaram Foundation, Suriya's entire family, including Sivakumar, Karthi, Jyotika, and his children, was present. Additionally, director Vetrimaaran, Devayani, ISRO scientist Veera Muthuvel, and politician Su Venkatesan were also present as guests.
