The makers of debut filmmaker Jayalakshmi's En Kadhale dropped the single from the film on Wednesday.

The romantic number titled 'Kanaadi Theevua,' featuring Lingesh and Liya, was composed by Sandy Sandellow, sung by Saindhavi and Sridhar Seana and written by Kabilan.

The recently released trailer glimpse depicts the male lead falling for a foreign tourist (played by Liya) who is caught in a mess in Tamil Nadu, and she too eventually reciprocates. Things get complicated when the other female lead, played by Divya, who is the male lead's relative, falls for him. What ensues is the trouble that erupts in the fisherman hamlet where he belongs as they oppose his relationship with a foreigner while ditching his uncle's daughter. The male lead draws parallels between the capricious sea and his life. How he manages to settle all his issues is what the film is expected to explore.

The star cast is rounded out with debutant Katpadi Rajan, who plays the antagonist, Madhusudhanan, Maaran, Sitha Dharshan, and Senthamizh.

Lingesh has acted in supporting roles in Kabali and Pariyerum Perumal and played the lead in College Road. The film, produced by Jayalakshmi's Sky Wanders Entertainment, has a technical crew of cinematographer Dony Raj, music composer Sandy Santello, and editor Gopikrishna.
