Makers of late actor Daniel Balaji's last feature, RPM, directed by Prasad Prabhakar, planned to get a theatrical release this summer. An update regarding the film's trailer was made on Tuesday.

Accordingly, actor Dulquer Salmaan will launch the glimpse on April 30 at 5:30 PM.

Daniel Balaji, last seen in Mithran R Jawahar's Ariyavan (2023), plays the central role in this film, which will have a posthumous release.

In an earlier conversation with CE, the film's director, Prasad Prabhakar, said, "RPM is a suspense thriller based on criminals operating under the guise of packers and movers. We are selective about who gets access to our bedroom and bathroom. But among those who can enter are the packers and movers. What if their intentions are not good? That is the crux of the film."

He also added that he has already planned a sequel to the film that will explore the origins of why Daniel Balaji's character does what he does in the first part.

Backed by singer Kalpana Raghavendra, RPM also features Kovai Sarala, YG Mahendran, Ilavarasu, and Devadarshini in key roles. The film’s technical crew includes music composer Sebastian Rozario, editor Antony, and cinematographer Aniyan Chitrasala.
