Vijay Antony is the latest public figure to make a statement about the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Amid an intense climate across the country, with many calling for retaliation against Pakistan, Vijay said that we should not blame the whole of Pakistan for the incident. The composer-actor stated that it is the work of some people who are worthless and underscored that Pakistan's civilians are just the same as their Indian counterparts. "Like Rajini sir said, it is the deed of our enemies, people who have wrong viewpoints," Vijay said.

On the work front, Vijay Antony's upcoming projects include the neo-political drama Shakthi Thirumagan and the murder mystery crime thriller Gagana Maargan, which marks editor Leo John Paul's directorial debut.
