Many celebrities have condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The latest to comment on the matter is actor Rajinikanth. In an interaction with media at the Chennai airport, Rajinikanth did not mince words when asked about the recent attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The actor stated that that the terrorists and the mastermind behind the crime should be found as soon as possible and be given the the most severe punishment. He added that he believes that they would be given the kind of punishment that forces them to not even think about committing a similar act of crime ever again. As reported earlier, the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba is linked to the killings of over 26 tourists in Pahalgam.

On the work front, Rajinikanth's upcoming projects include Coolie with director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Jailer 2 with Nelson Dilipkumar. In March, the makers of Coolie wrapped production on the film. Currently in post-production, Coolie is slated for an August 14 release. On the other hand, during the latest media interaction, Rajinikanth stated that he just came back from the second schedule of Jailer 2 shoot in Coimbatore.
