GV Prakash's long-delayed film Idimuzhakkam, directed by Seenu Ramasamy is finally gearing up to release in theatres next month. The makers announced that the film will hit screens in May, but did not specify the exact date.

The film, which was wrapped up in September 2021, stars Gayathrie opposite GV Prakash and features Ganja Karuppu, Saranya Ponvannan, MS Bhaskar, Baba Bhaskar and Kayal Devaraj among others in pivotal roles.

Backed by Kalaimagan Mubarak, the action thriller set in a rural backdrop, is based on a story written by acclaimed writer Jeyamohan. 

On the technical team, Idimuzhakkam has music by NR Raghunanthan, cinematography by AR Ashok Kumar, editing by Sangathamizhan and art direction by Kali. Premkumar.
