J Sathish Kumar's directorial debut Fire gets a digital premiere

Producer J Sathish Kumar's directorial debut Fire, released on February 14 in theatres, received a mixed to positive response.

The makers of the film announced on Wednesday that it will begin streaming on OTT platforms Amazon Prime and Tentkotta from today.

The film's story is inspired by the sensational Nagercoil Kasi case of 2020. Kasi was a notorious extortionist. He was involved in shooting intimate photos of over 100 women in a compromised position and has extorted lakhs of rupees from the victims. The prosecution revealed that he exploited over 120 women, and law enforcement recovered almost 1,900 obscene photographs and 400 videos from him.

The film, produced by Sathish Kumar's JSK Film Corporation, stars Balaji Murugadoss, Chandini Tamilarasan, Rachitha Mahalakshmi, Sakshi Agarwal, Gayathri Shan, Singampuli, and Suresh Chakravarthi. Fire's technical crew comprises music composer DK, cinematographer Sathish G, editor CS Prem Kumar, and art director SS Suseedevaraj.
