Streamer ZEE5 announced that it will start making the Keerthy Suresh starrer Raghu Thatha accessible from September 13 onwards. The Tamil film will be available on the streaming platform also with dubs in Telugu and Kannada.

Also starring Ravindra Vijay, MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, and Anandsami, among others, Raghu Thatha tells the story of a Kayalvizhi (Keerthy), a young woman with a stance against Hindi imposition who also writes stories under the pseudonym 'Ka Pandian'. An excerpt from CE's review of the film reads thus: "While the writing is as confusing as the gender grammar rules in Hindi, the actors and their performances are as valuable as the vowels in the language. Keerthy Suresh and Ravindra Vijay are Raghu Thatha's saving grace."

The ensemble cast of the film also includes Rajeev Ravindranathan, Rajesh Balakrishnan, and Ismath Bhanu.

Released on Independence Day, the film is helmed by Suman Kumar in his directorial debut.
