Ahead of the release of the Vijay-starrer The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) on Thursday, directors Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee wished him on their social media handles.

Lokesh worked with Vijay for the 2021 film Master as well as the 2023 film Leo, which was Vijay's most recent release. Both of these films proved to be box office successes. Meanwhile, Atlee has worked with Vijay three times: with Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019). Atlee was also an assistant director in the sets of Vijay's Nanban (2012), where he worked with Shankar.

Lokesh posted a picture of himself with Atlee and captioned the post, "Wishing you the absolute best for #TheGOAT @actorvijay na wishing @vp_offl, @Ags_production, @archanakalpathi and the entire cast and crew for the movie to be a raging success. From your boys @Dir_Lokesh & @Atlee_dir." Atlee replied to this, "Congratulations for the Blockbuster Goat. From your boys @actorvijay Anna."

Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently busy with Rajinikanth's Coolie. Atlee, whose last release was the 2023 blockbuster Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, is yet to officially announce his next film, although reports suggest him teaming up with Kamal Haasan and Salman Khan for a pan-Indian film.
