Former cricketer S Badrinath 'excited' about his acting debut in GOAT

While fans can't wait to know what the cameos are with which director Venkat Prabhu leaves them spellbound in the Vijay-starrer The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), former Indian cricketer Subramaniam Badrinath revealed he is a part of the film.

On his X account, Badrinath said he has done his part in the film and is excited about how it has come out, also asking fans to drop in their feedback. Going by the picture he has posted, he will likely essay the role of a cricket commentator, which he does at present.

Apart from Vijay, GOAT also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Joining them are Venkat Prabhu's frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash. Late actor and politician Vijayakanth will appear in the film with the help of AI technology.

GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Kalpathi S Aghoram has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner, with Archana Kalpathi serving as the creative producer. The film is slated for a September 5 release.

The film is slated in the IMAX format in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, with Zee Studios distributing it across North Indian states in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
