Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan, Prabhu, and more extend wishes to Vijay for first political conference

On Sunday, actor Vijay's political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), is all set to host its first political conference at Vikravandi, Villupuram. The event is scheduled to begin at 4pm. Ahead of the conference, many Tamil actors, including Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan, Jayam Ravi, Prabhu, and more, extended their wishes to the actor.

On the social media platform X, Vijay Sethupathi wrote in Tamil, "Wishes to TVK leader Vijay and his party members for the success of their first political conference." Sivakarthikeyan also wrote in Tamil, "My heartiest wishes to Vijay sir, who will start his new journey today."

Prabhu, who opened a new showroom of Kalyan Jewellers in Nellai earlier today, said, "I fully support actor Vijay. He has my father's blessings and my support. Anybody can start a party in this democratic country. I bless Vijay to come to a great position in politics."

Director Ranjit Jeyakodi went on to extend his wishes with a cryptic X post. "If it’s going to be DMK vs. TVK, DMK doesn't need to worry. Only the parties that are competing against DMK have to worry. DMK can remain calm and enjoy what is happening. Welcome actor Vijay, sir. Hearty wishes." 

Jayam Ravi, Vasanth Ravi, Sibi Sathyaraj, and Arjun Das also wished actor Vijay. "Wishing you the very best, sir," wrote Arjun. Jayam Ravi wrote, "Congratulations Thalapathy Vijay Anna on this incredible milestone, TVK Maanaadu. Bring the same passion and dedication to politics that you’ve shown in cinema. Wishing you great success on this new journey !!"

Vasanth Ravi wrote, "My heartfelt wishes to Vijay sir, for your wonderful start today. You have been truly an inspiration to many of us, not only through your films alone, but soon you will be remembered and appreciated for your political journey too in the coming years. I am sure today will be a historic moment for you and all the members of TVK. More strength and power to you from all of us."

"Wishing Thalapathy Vijay Anna for his first TVK Maanaadu! Eagerly looking forward to his speech. May his new journey bring him positivity and success," wrote Sibi Sathyaraj.

RJ Balaji said Vijay made a sacrifice by letting go of his cinema career for politics. "Dearest Vijay sir, leaving cinema at your prime and wanting to serve people through electoral politics is a big big decision. Wishing you the best for your biggest journey yet.!" Further Sasikumar wrote, "May your political entry be a great hope for the common people. Best Regards…Vijay Sir."

On the work front, Vijay is currently working on Thalapathy 69, helmed by H Vinoth. The film stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Priyamani, Gautham Menon, Narain and Prakash Raj among others. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, editor Pradeep E Ragav and music composer Anirudh.
