Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran trailer to drop on this date

The story is based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless.

There is less than ten days to go for the release of Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran and the hype for the film is only increasing day by day. On Tuesday, the makers of the film announced that the trailer of Amaran will be released tomorrow, October 23 at 6 pm.

Amaran is directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The film tells the story of late army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan. The story is based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless.

Amaran stars Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. Mukund Varadarajan was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his act of bravery during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir. Sai Pallavi will be playing Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the wife of late Major Mukund in the film. Farzi-fame Bhuvan Arora makes his Tamil debut as Sepoy Vikram Singh in Amaran.

The technical crew has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by CH Sai, editing by Kalaivanan, and stunt direction by Stefan Richter. Amaran is being bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International along with Sony Pictures International Productions.

Upon release on October 31, the film will clash with Jayam Ravi's Brother and Kavin's Bloody Beggar.
