Lokesh Kanagaraj: Will soon collaborate with Sivakarthikeyan

Amaran is slated to get a theatrical release on October 31, coinciding with Diwali day

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj responded positively to a collaboration in the future with actor Sivakarthikeyan.

The audio launch event of Siva's upcoming action film Amaran was held in Chennai last evening. Lokesh was among several chief guests who graced the occasion. While asked when the Don actor will get a massy role in Lokesh's film, to which he responded, "Siva has already got the 'Thuppakki' from Vijay (referring to the scene in the GOAT film). We have been discussing the scripts; we'll be joining hands soon." Lokesh's answer got the fans going berserk.

Apart from the Rajkumar Periasamy film, Sivakarthikeyan also has SK 23, or SKxARM, with director AR Murugadoss. Amaran, bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, has Sai Pallavi playing the female lead. The film boasts a technical crew of music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer CH Sai, editor Kalaivanan and stunt director Stefan Richter. The film is slated to get a theatrical release on October 31, coinciding with Diwali day.

Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj, who last made Vijay's Leo, is making Coolie with Rajinikanth in the lead and Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan and Upendra in prominent roles.
