The makers of the recently released Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan shared a deleted scene from the film. The scene showcases the characters of Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil, named Athiyan and Patrick respectively, bantering. The duo shares a lot of screen space in the police thriller, and their chemistry has been much appreciated.

The police thriller directed by TJ Gnanavel boasts an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Abhirami, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Rohini, and VJ Rakshan. Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan reunite after 33 years for the film, after their last outing, Hum.

The film released on October 10th to positive reviews and has so far grossed over Rs 240 crores at the global box office, making it one of the biggest hits of the year. On the technical team, the film has music by Anirudh, cinematography handled by SR Kathir, and editing by Philomin Raj.
