Actors Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar's upcoming thriller Black, directed by debutant filmmaker KG Balasubramani is all set for release on October 11.

The trailer which was unveiled recently shows the two actors playing a happy couple who become the first ones to occupy a villa in a huge township, with the rest yet to be occupied. There are both horror and home invasion thriller elements in the trailer.

In an earlier interview with director Balasubramani said, "The darkness enveloping us may be referred to as black. The film centres around this theme, narrated with thriller and racy moments.” He added that the film will lay focus on the events affecting a couple over the course of a night.

Black, produced by Potential Studios, boasts a technical crew comprising cinematographer Gokul Benoy, music composer Sam CS, editor Philomin Raj, stunt choreographer Metro Mahesh, lyricists Madhan Karky and Chandru, and choreographer Sherif.
