Ezhil Periyavedi's Parari clears censorship formalities

As of now, Parari, Prabhudeva's Jolly O Gymkhana and Naveen Chandra's Eleven are scheduled to release in theatres on November 22

With its release slated for November 22, debut director Ezhil Periyavedi's Parari has cleared censorship formalities.

The makers of Parari announced on Monday that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given a U/A certificate to the film. The announcement added that the film received unanimous applause from the board.

The film's teaser and trailer highlighted that it would explore the themes of caste, language, class and inter-caste love.

Director Raju Murugan, who presents the film, described it as a "breathtaking and nerve-wracking experience" and added that it will debut in theatres soon. Ezhil Periyavedi worked as an associate director for Raju Murugan.

The Gypsy director is presenting this film in association with SP Cinemas. The film stars Thozhar Venkatesan fame Harishankar and debutant Sangeetha Kalyan as the female lead. The film’s star cast comprises newcomers who underwent acting training for 6 months.

The technical team at Parari has music by Sean Roldan and lyrics by Uma Devi. Sridhar will crank the camera for the film while the editing is taken care of by Sam RDX.

As of now, Parari, Prabhudeva's Jolly O Gymkhana and Naveen Chandra's Eleven are scheduled to release in theatres on November 22.
