Actor Arun Vijay, who will next be seen in Bala's Vanangaan, penned an emotional note thanking the director for giving him an opportunity in the film.

The Thadam actor wrote about his experience watching the film on screen. He said even while filming he wasn't able to fully get absorbed into the story, but the screening had a lasting impact on him. He added that apart from him, the film was loved by his family members as well, who attended the screening.

Thanking Bala for the opportunity and producer Suresh Kamatchi for the support, Arun Vijay concluded that he is excited to bring the film to the screens soon and receive inputs from fans.

The film received a U/A certificate a few months ago, along with a trailer that hints at a revenge thriller. Arun Vijay's character goes to jail for a crime he did not commit and comes back from prison to avenge those who sexually abused his sister. Arun has no dialogue in the trailer, hinting at a mute character.

Vanangaan also stars Roshni Prakash as the female lead. Samuthirakani and Mysskin play pivotal roles. The cast also includes Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Dr Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldass, and Munish Sivagurunath, among others.

The film has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by RB Gurudev, and editing by Sathish Suriya. Karthik Netha has penned the lyrics for the songs in Vanangaan, while Silva has choreographed the stunts in it. Recently, Sam CS joined the crew to score the background music for the film.

The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions. Production on the film was completed this April.
