Suriya-Siva's Kanguva clears censorship formalities

Kanguva will hit theatres worldwide on November 14 in 38 languages and in 3D and IMAX formats

With not even a week for the theatrical release of Suriya starrer Kanguva, the makers of the action adventure film gave the censor certification update on Friday.

Accordingly, the film directed by Siva has been certified a U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The action adventure film will also be releasing in 3D.

Apart from Suriya, Kanguva also stars Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, G Marimuthu, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Ravi Raghavendra, BS Avinash and Deepa Venkat, among others. The film will mark the Tamil debut of Disha Patani.

The fantasy period action film, which will be made in two parts, is expected to traverse across multiple time periods. Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva will feature cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf, and art direction by the late Milan Fernandez. Dialogues for the film have been written by Madhan Karky. According to reports, the film is expected to be released in 38 languages in 3D and IMAX versions.
