Arjun Sarja joins Seetha Payanam, first look out

The film will made trilingual, with a release in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

Actor Arjun Sarja has onboarded the cast of Seetha Payanam. He takes on the role of Giri in his latest directorial which also stars his daughter Aishwarya Arjun in the lead role. She plays the titular role as Seetha while actor Niranjan Sudhindra will be portraying Abhi.

The film will made trilingual, with a release in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The makers are yet to announce other details such as the extended cast, crew, and plot.

Arjun Sarja, who started his acting career with Simhada Mari Sainya (1981) in Kannada and Nandri (1984) in Tamil, made his directorial debut with Sevagan in 1992. The actor has helmed 12 films so far. He recently penned the story for his nephew, Dhruva Sarja's latest outing, Martin.

Seetha Payanam is backed by Arjun's banner Sree Raam Films International. The production house started its journey with Sevagan and has produced 10 films so far.

Last seen in Virundhu, Arjun is currently awaiting the release of Ajith's Vidaamuyarchi, which is helmed by Magizh Thirumeni. This film marks Arjun's second collaboration with Ajith, after Mankatha (2011). He also has Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga and Aghathiyaa in the pipeline.
