As Sivakarthikeyan-Sai Pallavi's Amaran is having a golden run at the box office, celebrities and politicians have been congratulating the team for making an effective biopic of late Major Mukund Varadarajan.

The latest to wish the Rajkumar Periasamy directorial is actor Silambarasan TR. The actor took to his X handle to congratulate each and every important artist and technician who contributed to the film's success. Calling it a fantastic film, he said he wholeheartedly enjoyed watching Amaran and praised Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi for bringing so much depth and heart to the screen. Congratulating Kamal for adding a 'top-notch' production value, he praised GV Prakash for 'elevating every scene beautifully' and editor Kalaivanan, DOP Ch Sai and stunt director Anbariv for their impressive work in their respective spaces. STR added, "Rajkumar Periasamy deserves immense credit for brilliantly adapting a real-life incident with exceptional craft. His hard work and attention to minute details bring the story to life."
