Vetri's Pagalariyaan is all set to hit theatres on May 24. It will be released along with Hiphop Tamizha Adhi's PT Sir. Billed as a suspense thriller, Pagalariyaan is directed by Murugan from a screenplay he co-wrote with Vignesh Gunasekar based on a story by Kishor Kumar. Murugan has also essayed the role of the antagonist in the film.

Akshaya Kandamuthan plays the female lead in Pagalariyaan, which also stars Chaplin Balu and Sai Dheena in supporting roles. Latha Murugan is producing the film under the Rishikesh Entertainment banner. 

On the technical front, Pagalariyaan has music by Vivek Saro, editing by Guru Pradeep and cinematography by Abilash PMY. Murugan has penned the film's script along with Vignesh Gunasekar.
