Almost a month after the release of its first-look poster, the makers of Laandhar have dropped a motion poster for the film. Saji Saleem is the writer and director of the film, which stars Vidaarth, Swetha Dorathy, Vibin, Sahana, Pasupathi Raj, and Gajaraj. The film reunites Vidaarth with his Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru director Saji Saleem. 

The motion poster starts with a police car moving through the nooks and corners of a city and goes on to give a glimpse at the characters of Swetha, Vibin, and Sahana. It does not reveal the identity of a key character, but the person is the same as the one from the first-look poster that the makers released earlier. The motion poster ends with the image of Vidaarth in a cop uniform and that of a kerosene lamp. From the looks of the poster, it seems like Vidaarth is chasing a masked criminal.

Laandhar has editing by Barath Vikraman, cinematography by Gnana Sowmdhar, music by MS Prraveen, art direction by Kallai Deva, and stunts by Vicky. The film is produced by Shri Vishnu, with Baskar G serving as its executive producer.
