'Mannavan' song from Vijay Kumar's Election out

The makers of Vijay Kumar's Election, have released the second single from the film. The film, helmed by Thamizh of Seththumaan-fame, is all set to hit theatres on May 17. The film is expected to be a political drama with a lot of action and tells its story from the perspective of a family. 

The second single titled 'Mannavan', is sung by Haricharan and Shwetha Mohan with lyrics by Yuga Bharathi. The video song showcases the leads Vijay Kumar and Preethi Asrani getting married in a grand manner, in the presence of their family members.

Fully shot in Arangaldurgam, a village in Ambur, Election revolves around a local body election for a counsellor. Election also features actors like George Maryan, Vathikuchi-fame Dileepan, Richa Joshi, Natchiyal Suganthi, and Pavel Navageethan in important character roles. 

The film's dialogues have been penned by writer Azhagiya Periyavan. On the technical front, Mahendran Jayaraj, who is best known for 96, is the cinematographer while Govind Vasantha is the composer, CS Prem Kumar is the editor, and Renganaath Ravee is the sound designer. Election is bankrolled by Adithya under the Reel Good Films banner.
