The makers of Yashika Aannand's Padikkaatha Pakkangal announced the film's release date on Wednesday. Also starring Prajin in a lead role, the film is all set to hit theatres on May 17. 

Padikkaatha Pakkangal is written and directed by Selvam Mathappan. The makers previously unveiled the teaser which had elements of a murder mystery and a police procedural. The film is billed to be a crime thriller, featuring Yashika as an actor.

The film's extended supporting cast includes George Maryan, Muthu Kumar, Balaji, and Lollu Saba Manogar. The technical crew of Padikkaatha Pakkangal consists of music by Jassi Gift, cinematography by Dolly and editing handled by Moorthy and Sharan Shanmugam.
