The makers of Anandhi's White Rose have released the trailer of the upcoming film. Billed to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller, the film marks the maiden directorial venture of director Rajashekar, filmmaker Susi Ganesan's former associate.

The nearly one-and-a-half-minute long trailer begins with the tagline, 'The nature of man is evil: What is good in him is artificial'. We then see glimpses of Anandhi stuck in a house where women are being harassed and murdered. While she somehow, gets hold of a phone to call the police, she tells them that her daughter has gone missing and requests them to find her. The rest of the trailer shows Anandhi's relentless pursuit to find her missing child even when danger lurks behind her.

In a previous conversation with CE, director Rajashekar said, "White Rose is a fictitious story based on some illegal happenings in the medical field. The film is made to create awareness about the same, but will not be giving a message."

RK Suresh will feature as the antagonist in the film. Backed by Ranjani, the technical crew of White Rose consists of music by Johan Shevanesh, cinematography by Elayaraja V and editing by Gopikrishna.

The film is all set to hit theatres on April 5.
