We know that actor Kathir will next be seen in Maanavan, written and directed by SLS Henry. Titled Kolluraale, the song is composed by Ghibran Vaibodha with lyrics penned by Chandru. Pradeep Kumar has lent his voice to the song.

Backed by Fortunee Studios, Maanavan also stars Karu Palaniappan, Master Mahendran, Yuvalatchumi, and Anbudasan, among others.M Thennilavan and D Daniel Christopher serve as co-producers of the film. Maanavan's technical crew comprises Sridhar as the cinematographer and Thiyagu as the editor.

A release date for the film is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Kathir who was last seen Thalaikoothal, along with Samuthirakani, has a second season of the Prime Video series Suzhal-The Vortex in the pipeline.
