Earlier this year, we reported that Kamal Haasan's production banner Raajkamal Films International (RKFI) is producing its next project, titled 'Inimel', with the actor's daughter Shruti and Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj. At the time, we reported that there was no clarity regarding what the project was, but the makers have now confirmed that it is a song video. Kamal shared a poster on social media that not only credits him as the lyricist of the song and Shruthi as the conceptualiser and composer but also says "introducing Lokesh Kanagaraj." This means that Lokesh is in the song as an actor for the first time, opposite Shruti.

Dwarkesh Prabakar is the director of 'Inimel', while Bhuvan Gowda is its cinematographer, Philomin Raj is the editor, Sriram Iyengar is the production designer, and Sowndar Nallasamy is the art director.

Kamal is now working on Mani Ratnam's next Thug Life, while Lokesh is directing his yet-to-be-titled Rajinikanth-starrer that is tentatively titled Thalaivar 171. On the other hand, Shruti will be next seen in the adaptation of Arrangements of Love, titled Chennai Story, and Dacoit with Adivi Sesh.
