The makers of Mahendran-starrer Amigo Garage have unveiled the trailer of the film. Directed by debutant filmmaker Prasanth Nagarajan, Amigo Garage has Athiraraj playing the female lead.

The 1.41-minute-long trailer opens with a narration saying that when a lion was ruling the jungle like a king, another cub came in to its place. "When the older lion went to hunt, he was caught to be part of a circus. When the lion came back, he saw that the cub had taken over its place," it further said. The visuals juxtapose Mahendran to be the cub who rose from his ranks to become a gangster ruling over his place.

Billed as a gangster film, Amigo Garage also stars GM. Sundar, Deepa Balu, Dasarathi Narasimman, Madhanagopal, Murali Chandran, Sakthi Gopal, Muralikamal and Siriko Udhaya.

Produced by People Production House, The technical team of the film include Vijayakumar Solaimuthu behind the camera, and Ruben, who is best known for his work in Mersal, Bigil, and Annaatthe, will be handling the editing of the film.

Mahendran was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar web series Label, starring Jai and Tanya Hope in the lead role. The series was released last year.

Amigo Garage is all set to release in theatres on March 15
