Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan Trailer: Vijay Antony struggles to stay anonymous

The film will get a theatrical release in July; the exact date is yet to be announced

The trailer video of actor Vijay Antony's upcoming film, Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, was released on Saturday by the makers.

The trailer video starts with Sarath Kumar's character telling Vijay Antony's to maintain a low profile and stay away from people as much as possible, for reasons unknown. During his reclusion, the protagonist rescues an injured dog. This seemingly harmless act of his brings him a lot of trouble, forcing him out of his anonymity.

Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, also releasing in Telugu as Toofan, is directed by SD Vijay Milton, who also took up cinematography. The rest of the technical crew comprises music composers Vijay Antony, Achu Rajamani, and Sourav Roy, as well as editor KL Praveen.

The cast of the film also includes Sarath Kumar, Sathyaraj, Daali Dhananjaya, Murali Sharma, Thalaivasal Vijay, Saranya Ponvannan, and Pruthvi Ambaar. Touted as an action thriller, Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan is produced by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, Pradeep B, Pankaj Bohra, and S Vikram Kumar of Infiniti Film Ventures. The makers of the film are yet to announce the release date for it in Tamil or Telugu.

Last seen in this year's Romeo, Vijay Antony's upcoming film slate includes titles such as Valli Mayil, Hitler, Khakhee, and Agni Siragugal.

The film is yet to get a release date.
