'Asakaayan' lyrical video from Weapon out

The lyrical video of 'Asakaayan' song from Sathyaraj and Vasanth Ravi starrer Weapon was released by the makers on Saturday.

The unevenly paced motivational song, composed by Ghibran Vaibodha, celebrates ordinary people who are extraordinary in their own right.

'Asakaayan' is penned by Mohan Raja and sung by Airaa Udupi.

Directed by Guhan Seniappan, Weapon was released on June 7 billed as the first-ever superhuman saga in Indian cinema. The film follows the story of a superhuman played by Sathyaraj who is chased by a bounty hunter, as essayed by Vasanth Ravi.

Besides Sathyaraj and Vasanth Ravi, Weapon features an ensemble cast, including Rajiv Menon, Tanya Hope, Rajeev Pillai, Yashika Aannand, Mime Gopi, Kaniha, Gajaraj, Syed Subhan, Baradwaj Rangan, Veluprabhakaran, Maya Krishnan, Shiyas Kareem, Benito Franklin, Raghu Esakki and Others.

Produced by MS Manzoor of Million Studio, Weapon was filmed in Chennai and surrounding hill stations. The film has cinematography by Prabhu Rhagav and editing by Nash.
