As he aspires to be a writer, a path suddenly pushes him into spirituality. Does love change him or not is the story.” The director has previously helmed Karotiyin Kadhali.

Aalan will also feature German-origin actor Madhura. The supporting cast of the film includes Aruvi Madhankumar, Lal, Vivek Prasanna, and Karunakaran among others. The film has been shot in locations like Rishikesh, Kasi, Kodaikanal, Puducherry, and Chennai.

Aalan has cinematography by Vindhan Stalin, music by Manoj Krishna and editing by Kasiviswanathan. 3S Pictures is backing the film. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
