Fans have been waiting with bated breath for an update from Vidaa Muyarchi, made in director Magizh Thirumeni and Ajith Kumar's collaboration.

The makers have released a BTS video of the shoot and have announced that filming has resumed in Azerbaijan. In what looks like an action sequence shoot, Ajith was seen seated in a damaged car, which gets lifted and then rolls as the actor receives an instruction from the technical crew.

The upcoming film, billed as a thriller, is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and is backed by Lyca Productions. The film will also reportedly star Trisha, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra.

The shooting for Vidaa Muyarchi began in October 2023. The film was initially supposed to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan, who was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.

The technical crew of Vidaa Muyarchi includes cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor NB Srikanth, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix.
