Debut director M Arul Selvan's film Iyal's teaser was released by the makers on Thursday.

The film's teaser follows a suspected crime of passion that went cold without getting solved. The case gets reopened, and the list of suspects involved in the murder of the woman Iyal gets long, rendering the police department oblivious to how the crime was committed. The glimpse video has all the qualities of a quintessential whodunnit crime thriller.

The film, written and directed by M Arul Selvan, stars Gayatri Rema, L.Yeshwanth Krishna, Sathya Jayam, Anamika, Aravind Kumaran, Amrish, Gopi, Sridevi, and Varsha.

Iyal is produced by T Michael Raj and T Angayarkanni and is co-produced by Immanuel Raj, Jenifer, and Anamika. The film's technical team includes cinematographer Mourish Booshan, music director J Dhivakar, editor Yuvan Selvaram, and art director Sabarish.

The crime thriller will be released on June 26 on MovieBuff.
