Actor Arjun, shortly after his daughter Aishwarya tied the knot with Umapathy, son of actor Thambi Ramaiah, met the scribes and shared a few interesting things about Vidaa Muyarchi, which has kept social media buzzing with excitement for the Ajith Kumar-led film.

Talking to the press, Arjun reportedly said that the film's shoot has resumed in Azerbaijan, and just 20–30 percent of the film is left. While an official date for the film is yet to be announced, he added that the film is eyeing a Diwali release.

The upcoming film, billed as a thriller, is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and is backed by Lyca Productions. The film will also reportedly star Trisha, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra.

The shooting for Vidaa Muyarchi began in October 2023. The film was initially supposed to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan, who was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.

The technical crew of Vidaa Muyarchi includes cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor NB Srikanth, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix.
