The makers of Vijay Antony's upcoming film Mazhai Pidikkatha Manidhan have released the first single titled 'Theera Mazhai'.

The song's refrain pictures how overwhelming and helpless a person would feel if it rained too much and drowned him. 'Theera Mazhai' draws parallels between the downpour and hard times.

'Theera Mazhai' is penned by Vanthana Mazan and sung by Sourav Roy.

Director Vijay Milton also worked as the cinematographer on this film, while Vijay Antony, Achu Rajamani, and Sourav Roy have worked as the music directors. Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan is produced by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, Pradeep B, Pankaj Bohra, and S Vikram Kumar of Infiniti Film Ventures.

Apart from Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, which is touted to be an action thriller, other films in his line-up like Valli Mayil, Hitler, Khakhee, and Agni Siragugal are in different stages of production. The actor was last in the romantic comedy Romeo, alongside Mirnalini Ravi, directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan. The film, simultaneously made in Telugu as Toofan, is yet to get a release date.
