Days after her cryptic post with a picture of two hands wearing a ring, actor Sunainaa has confirmed that she indeed has got engaged.

After her first post, speculations were awash in social media about her marital status while some believed it was some latest film update of hers.

She responded to the reports on her post saying, "Hi, I’ve seen some articles going around regarding my last post and wanted to clarify that I am indeed happily engaged. Thank you for all the wonderful messages that are coming in, it means so much ❤." (sic)

Sunainaa made her acting debut in 2005 with a Telugu film Kumar vs Kumari, and did her first Tamil film Kadhalil Vizhunthen in 2008 opposite Nakul. The actor, who has worked in over 25 films, her last feature film was Regina in 2023. She was part of the star cast of Amazon Prime Video webseries Inspector Rishi, which streamed early this year.
