The trailer for Keerthy Suresh's upcoming film, Raghu Thatha, was unveiled on Wednesday. Directed by Suman Kumar, the film marks Hombale Films' first production venture in Tamil.

The trailer shows Keerthy as a woman who is bothered by society to be and act a certain way because she's a 'woman'. We then see her being bold and taking a resolution to go against Hindi imposition. The trailer promises a comedy-drama with a message.

MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsamy, and Rajesh Balakrishnan round out the supporting cast of Raghu Thatha. Suman Kumar, a debut filmmaker,  was one of the writers of the hit Prime Video series The Family Man

The technical team of Raghu Thatha includes cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy, music composer Sean Roldan, and editor TS Suresh. The film has cleared censorship formalities with a 'U' certificate. The film is slated to hit theatres on August 15, along with Vikram's Thangalaan and Arulnithi's Demonte Colony 2
