Director Prabhu Solomon, who last directed Sembi in 2022, has announced his next film. Starring Vijayakumar's grandson and Vanitha Vijayakumar and Akash's son, Vijay Sri Harri, the film is titled Mambo.

Mambo is billed to be the first Asian film shot with a real lion. Roja Combines, the production banner known for backing films like Perarasu, Porkkaalam, Paattali, and Vaanchinathan, is making a comeback to produce Mambo, after 18 years.

Yogi Babu and Tejaswi also star in prominent roles in Mambo. The film will reportedly feature the friendship between a boy and a lion. Prabhu Solomon's son, Samuel Sanjay, is debuting as a cinematographer with Mambo.

The technical crew of Mambo also comprises music composer D Imman, and editor LVK Doss. The film is currently in production. More details regarding storyline, cast, and release date, are yet to be disclosed by the makers.
