The first single from director Jayavelmurugan's film, Varunan, has been released by the makers on Saturday.

The romantic track titled 'Kaadhale' is composed by Bobo Shashi, written by Reshman, and sung by GV Prakash Kumar and Saindhavi.

The song was released with a video of the lead pair, Dushyanth Jayaprakash and Gabriella, going to the preview theatre to view the first single.

Written and directed by Jayavelmurugan, Varunan, with the tagline "God of Water" is produced by Karthick Sreedaran under his Yakkai Films banner and co-produced by the director's Vaan Productions banner.

Apart from the leads, Varunan also stars Radha Ravi, Charanraj, Shankarnag Vijayan, Haripriya, Jiva Ravi, Maheshwari, Arjunna Keerthivasan, Priyadharsan, and Dumkan Maari in pivotal roles.

The film, which was under production for several years, has cinematographer S Srirama Santhosh, editor U Muthayan, music director Bobo Shashi, action choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan, and art director Paddhu as part of its technical team.
