As actor Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his 50th film Raayan, which will be out in theatres on June 26, his 25th film Velaiyilla Pattathari (VIP) turns 10. The film released on July 18, 2014.

Makers of VIP have released a special video cut with iconic scenes and dialogues in the film.

The film, written and directed by Velraj, stars Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead roles, while Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani, Vivek, Hrishikesh, Surbhi, and Amitash Pradhan were cast in pivotal roles.

Velaiyilla Pattathari follows Raghuvaran (Dhanush), a jobless engineering graduate who is particular about landing a job in the field of his interest. Raghuvaran's journey towards his personal and emotional redemption after the loss of his mother is what the film is about.

The film has music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Om Prakash, choreography by Prabhudeva and Bada Baskar, editing by Prasanna, and stunts by Peter Hein.

Raayan is slated for a July 26 release in theatres worldwide.
